Wildflower Turf Finisher is formulated specifically to be used alongside Wildflower Turf installations, providing the final layer needed to help turf establish quickly and evenly. Applied after laying, it helps secure the turf in place, improves contact between roots and substrate, and reduces moisture loss during the critical early establishment phase.

The finisher also plays an important role in suppressing weed ingress and protecting young plants from disturbance caused by wind, rainfall, or surface movement. By creating stable growing conditions, it supports consistent rooting, healthier plant development, and a more resilient wildflower sward. Suitable for use across a wide range of sites, it is an essential component for achieving predictable, long-term results from wildflower turf projects.

Wildflower Turf Finisher is used to fill joins, edges and small gaps for Wildflower Turf® projects. The Wildflower Turf Finisher will come in 20kg bags and will cover an area of approx. 25m2 per bag. The pre-seeded growing medium uses a standard group of UK native wild flower species only (no grass) that will be found in most locations nationwide.

Application advice

• Prepare the ground as normal for Wildflower Turf installation.
• Apply to edges and joins at 40-50mm in depth and no more than 250mm in width, before treading in.
• Can be used to dress any very small bare patches that might have been created
• Water area thoroughly using a fine rose head for good coverage of water that is quickly absorbed.
• The product can be applied during or after the installation of Wildflower Turf®.
• The product should be used within 3 days of arrival at site.
